The church of Pentecost is a global Pentecostal church which was founder by the Late Rev. James McKeown in 1962. The church currently has 15 member council executing the decision of the general council.

APOSTLE ERIC KWABENA NYAMEKYE

Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye is the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost worldwide. He holds a certificate in General Agriculture from the Nyankpala Agric College. He also holds Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Commercial Management – UK, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Theology from the University of Manchester, U.K. and a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon. Before joining the full-time ministry in 1991, he worked with the Technology Consultancy Center, KNUST. His 26 years in the full-ministry has taken him to eight stations including South Africa. In 2011, he was ordained an Apostle of The Church of Pentecost. Apostle Eric Nyamekye is married to Mary and they are blessed with six children.

 

APOSTLE ALEXANDER NANA YAW KUMI-LARBI

Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi is the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost. Before his call into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1999 and later into the Office of Apostle in 2013, he worked as a Civil Engineer. Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi holds a Master of Science degree in Infrastructural Planning and Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He also served as a Field Assistant of the Church in Germany from 1996 to 1997, where he helped in nursing the churches in Stuttgart and its environs. As a minister, he has served at stations like Kojokrom, Awoshie, Michel Camp and Asamankese. Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi remains a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers and still employs his rich experience in Civil Engineering to support the kingdom business by serving as a Consulting Engineer for the Church. Apostle Kumi-Larbi has served at five stations and is also an ex-officio member of all Boards and Committees of the Church. Apostle Kumi-Larbi is married to Rose Dansoa Kumi-Larbi, and together, they have been blessed with four male children. APOSTLE EMMANUEL GYESI-ADDO

Apostle Emmanuel GyesiAddo is the International Missions Director (IMD) of The Church of Pentecost who is responsible for the Church’s external Missions work. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Pentecost University College, Diploma in Business Administration from the French Chamber of Commerce, Diplome de Langue from the Alliance Francaise, Accra, and Diploma in Bilingual Secretaryship from Agence D’or Language & Secretarial Institute, Accra. He has also attended many courses and conferences in and outside Ghana. Emmanuel was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1991 and has since served at nine stations of the Church. He worked as the first Administrative Secretary at the International Missions Office at the Headquarters, Accra and has also been a Missionary and National Head of the Church in Senegal, Switzerland and Gabon. He is also the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee and Secretary of the Missions Board. Also, he is an Ex-officio member of all National Councils of the External Branches. Emmanuel GyesiAddo was called into the Office of Apostle in 2007. He is married to Elizabeth with four children.

Apostle Joseph Kwame Assabil

was called into the full-time ministry in 1998 and later as an Apostle in 2009. He has served at seven stations and in various stations and capacities such as the Administrative Secretary to the General Secretary, a Missionary in Norway and currently as the Takoradi Area Head and Chairman of the Literature Committee of the Church. Apostle Assabil holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science, Master of Arts degree in Communications Studies from the University of Ghana. He also holds a certificate in Management Course for Senior Church Administrators from CORAT, Nairobi Kenya. He is married to Rebecca and are blessed with two sons.

PROPHET JAMES OSEI AMANIAMPONG

James Osei Amaniampong

Prophet James Osei Amaniampong, a Theologian, was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1981 and has since served at ten stations. Called into the office of a Prophet in 1995, Prophet Amaniampong has attended several seminars, theological courses and conferences worldwide. He has pastoral training as his core theological style. Prophet Amaniampong is a former missionary of the Church in The Gambia and is currently heading the Asokwa Area of the Church. He is also the Board Chairman of the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) and a Member of the Ministerial Committee of the Church. Prophet James Osei Amaniampong is married to Georgina and they are blessed with four sons and a daughter.

 

Apostle Mark Obeng Andoh

Apostle Mark Obeng Andoh, a former staff of the Public Works Department (PWD) in Cape Coast, was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1984 and was later called into the Office of Apostle in 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Canada Christian College and a Master’s degree in Religion from the University of Ghana, Legeon. Apostle Andoh has served as a missionary to Zimbabwe and in seven other stations of the Church. He is currently serving as the Area Head of Sunyani. Apostle Andoh is married to Julie and they are belessed with six children.

 

Apostle Samuel Osei Asante

Before his call into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1993 and subsequently as an Apostle in 2013, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Ghana Water and Sewerage Corporation in Sunyani. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the KNUST and a Master of Theology degree in Applied Theology from Regents Theological College in United Kingdom. As a minister, Apostle Asante has served in seven stations and in various capacities in the Church. He was once appointed as the Administrative Secretary to the General Secretary at the Headquarters and also as a Lecturer at the Pentecost University College. He also served as Team Leader/ Country Director for four years. Apostle Asante is currently the Area Head of Koforidua and Chairman of the Records and Archives Committee of the Church. He is married to Elizabeth and they are blessed with two children.

Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani

 

Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and is currently pursuing a Master of Theology degree with the South African Theological Seminary in Johannesburg. He was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1997 and has since served at five stations of the Church. He was called into the Office of Evangelist in 2013 and subsequently ordained an Apostle in 2015. He holds a Teacher’s Diploma in the teaching of English Language and Literature from the then Advanced Teacher Training College. He is a former missionary to Botswana and is currently serving as the Tamale Area Head. Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani is married to Mary with whom he has five children.

 

Apostle Yaw AdjeiKwarteng

 



Apostle Yaw AdjeiKwarteng is a product of Pope John Secondary School and Workers College, Accra. He was called into the full-time ministry of the Church in 1992 and ordained an Apostle in 2011. Apostle Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from the Pentecost University College. He has served at seven stations of the Church including Senegal and Hohoe, where he is currently serving as Area Head. He is married to Bridget and they are blessed with six male children.

 

Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Anthony

 

Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Anthony Owusu is an advanced ministerial graduate from the Pentecost Bible School. He also holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theology from the Canada Christian College and School of Graduate Theological Studies. He is a member of the Evangelical Order in Canada. Also, he is a certified Pastoral Counsellor. Dr. Owusu was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1995 and has since been assigned to five stations including Canada, where he is currently serving as National Head. He was ordained an Apostle of The Church of Pentecost in 2006. Apostle Dr. Anthony Owusu is married to Patience Owusu; their union has been blessed with five children

Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi

Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi has been a minister of The Church of Pentecost for the past 25 years. He served as the General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal Charismatic Council (GPCC) from 2009 to 2017. He was called into the Office of Apostle in 2010. Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from the Pentecost University College, Ghana. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology. He has served at six stations of the church. Apostle Samuel Antwi is the current Area Head for Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. He is married to Margaret and they are blessed with three children.

Prophet David Kankam Beditor

is the current Area Head for Agona Swedru. He holds Master of Arts degree in Theology from International Institute of Church Management Inc. Florida USA. Before his call into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1993 and later ordained as Prophet in 2014, he worked as the branch Manager of a Savings and Investment Company. He has served at six stations and in various capacities in the Church, Prophet David Kankam Beditor is married to Margaret.

Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker

Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker is the Rector of Pentecost University College. He has been a minister of The Church of Pentecost for the past 26 years. His ministerial journey has taken him to seven stations including the United Kingdom. He was called into the Office of Apostle in 2015. Apostle Dr. Walker Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of Liberia. He also holds a Masters degree in Mission Studies and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theology from the University of Birmingham, UK. Apostle Dr. Walker is married to Irene and are blessed with two children. They couple has adopted four daughters as well.

 

Apostle David Tekper

Apostle David Tekper is the current Area Head for Achimota Area in Accra. He holds a Master of Divinity from the Alliance Theological Seminary, New York, USA. He was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1986 and later called into the Office of Apostle in 2009. Apostle David Tekper has served at ten stations of the Church within and outside Ghana, including Lesotho and USA. He was the Secretary of the erstwhile Pentecost Youth and Evangelistic Movement (PENTYEM) He is married to Matilda and they are blessed with six children
