Ex President John Dramani Mahama Responds to Ghanaians after his Independence Parade Absence

His excellency, President John Dramani Mahama the former president of Ghana was no where to be found during the celebration of the 63rd Independence of Ghana at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi. The president who was billed to sit behind another Statesman, Ex. President John Agyekum Kuffour was not seen in his seat.


A situation which has drawn a lot of criticism over the social media. Presidents and Statesmen missing state funded events is not knew in the 4th Republican Ghana. In 7th January, 2013, then defeated canditate Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo who is now the President boycotted the swearing in of President J D Mahama.

Few weeks back, John Mahama did not attend another state event, the constitutional mandate of the presidency, The State of the Nation in Parliament. It is still unknown whether the former President, who is campaigning for re-election come December, 2020, has decided to boycott all event leading to the election, however, at his twitter handle, the President has replied our guesses  in two phrasal sentence;


The wife of the former president celebrates her birthday with Ghana. So while Ghanaians were busily celebrating Ghana, among the busy schedules of the former president he found it important to throw some good words about the most important motivator in his life.
