Former President John Dramani Mahama has accepted a request for forgiveness from the Administration of the Multimedia Group, management of Asempa FM after one of their on-air staff “used words that were nasty” on his persona during a radio programme.
The apology which was signed by the Programmes Director of Asempa FM, Mr Sammy Yirenkyi and Mr A.C. Ohene, the Head of News and Current Affairs apologized wholeheartedly over the demeanour of the host of the ‘Kanawu’ show Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.
“Nana Akua, while presenting one of our shows, dubbed Kanawu used words that were unpleasant to your person.
“As a result, the Management of the station wishes to completely apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter, Nana Akua Acheampomaa Sarfo-Adu.
The apology letter shared by Mr Mahama on Twitter with the caption: “Accepted”, assured that internal measures have been taken to prevent the incident from recurring.
