HTML is the standard markup language for constructing  Web documents. The abbreviation HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It describes the formation of Web pages using markup. HTML elements are the construction blocks of HTML documents.

HTML uses elements which are represented by tags, these label pieces of content such as “heading”, “paragraph”, “table”, and so on. Browsers do not show the HTML tags but use them to distribute the content of the page
